HOW WE’LL COLLABORATE
The first thing to know is that we’ll have LOTS of fun and we’ll get things done. (haha rhymes!) I always intentionally insert fun into everything I do. So not only will we concentrate on a strategy and building beautiful products, we’ll also have mini parties along the way. We’ll celebrate progress — I LOVE momentum.
// KICK-OFF MEETING // After signed contract, we’ll schedule our first video call to discuss how to access my branding assets, brand style guide and any other useful info. Then we’ll start concepting for the collection! You’ll share your thoughts/ideas and we’ll figure out a direction. After the kick-off meeting most communication will be via email, with video calls as needed. I’ll get ya all set-up.
// ART CURATION & DOWNLOAD // I’ll present initial art picks and we’ll work together to make final art choices for the collection. High resolution art is sent via download link to your design team.
// LAYOUT & DESIGN // I act as guest Art Director for our project, working with your production design team to build out a beautiful collection. I’ll provide sketches and additional files as necessary and your designers will set up final files for production. Art is provided as-is. Color changes can be requested — which I prefer to handle; however I may allow your designers to make these changes and send to me for approval.
// APPROVALS // You’ll send me images for approval of any product, packaging, and marketing layouts throughout the development process. The approval process is crucial for our partnership to flourish, so we can make the best products and sales possible. I respond to approval requests as soon as possible, usually within a day or two. I believe that done is better than perfect. I’m not overly particular but I DO love to make a quality product so finding balance in the process and moving projects forward is important to me. The development stage takes 1-6 months depending on the extent of the collection and how clear we are on direction.
// FINAL SAMPLES & PROMO // Send samples of final products so I can help market the products on our social channels and have them for our archive. We can work together to promote via social media, live appearances and other fun methods of promotion.
